Marin MOCA C Street Mural Project 2025

The light blue water aligns with the current coastline and the purple aligns with the future coastline predicted by FEMA in 100 years. The background color for the land is inspired by the color of the hills in the summer time along with the warning colors associated with wildfires. One of the students came up with this great idea. The plants, flowers, and animals that populate the whole map are all invasive species that would thrive with a higher sea level and more dramatic weather swings.
