2nd Annual Pride Art Walk & Puzzle
Project type
Art Walk & Scavenger Hunt
Date
June 2025
Location
Downtown San Rafael
Celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride Month in Downtown San Rafael!
The whole month of June, the San Rafael Business Improvement District will be celebrating Pride, art, and local history with the 2nd Annual Pride Art Walk Puzzle, a new tradition for our community.
Dozens of storefronts will be decorated with Pride-themed window displays. But there’s more - each window hides a secret word! Collect the hidden words at each location and use your map to reveal an inspiring quote from San Francisco Supervisor and LGBTQ+ civil rights icon, Harvey Milk. Harvey Milk was one of the first openly gay elected officials in the United States. He championed equality, inclusion, and visibility for LGBTQ+ people, and his legacy continues to inspire generations.
Once you’ve completed your rainbow journey and solved the quote, turn in your map for a chance to win fabulous prizes, including tickets to the California Film Institute (see their Pride Series showtime below) and other giveaways from local businesses.
Whether you're an art enthusiast, history buff, or just love a good puzzle, the 2nd Annual Pride Art Walk Puzzle is a colorful, educational, and fun-filled way to celebrate Pride with our business community in Downtown San Rafael.
